About Lisa
Lisa Kursinski is the younger sister of Olympian, Anne Kursinski.
She started riding at 4-1/2 years of age at Flintridge Riding Club in Pasadena, CA.
As a junior, she was Pacific Coast Hunter-Jumper year-end “A” (highest show level) Champion Hunt Seat Equitation rider – 14 & under

“A” Champion Junior Working Hunter rider, 14 & under
Champion Junior Working Hunter rider, 15 thru 17
She consistently qualified for all the medals. She was second in the Onondarka Finals, California Professional Horsemen’s Association Finals, and the Barbara Worth Good Hands & Seat Finals, in which winners of a full year’s national competitions compete to be top rider. She had multiple USET wins (US Equestrian Team).
During college she spent a year at Westmoreland Davis Equestrian Institute in Leesburg, VA. She has ridden and shown horses coast to coast and in Europe. As an adult, she won the Regional Championship in Three Day Eventing in Las Vegas.
Lisa also won the Green Hunter Classic at Spruce Meadows, Calgary, Canada. From 2005 through 2008, she successfully competed on the “A” hunter/jumper circuit in California. She had multiple wins with her 2nd year green/regular working hunter Elegant.
July 2008 she competed in her first two Grand Prixs at The Pebble Beach Equestrian Classic Horse Shows I & II.
In 2009 and 2010 she has worked with Mark Farndale at Mark Farndale Stables located at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center. Where she continues to ride, teach and prepare clients and their horses for the horse show arenas in equitation, hunters and jumpers. She also continues to compete in all the hunter divisions from baby green to the rated open divisions as well as the jumpers divisions. She also is a groundperson at the shows. Lisa loves to teach and is a good clinician.
Lisa’s coaches include legends in the equestrian world: Jimmy Williams, Susie Hutchison, Anne Kursinski, George Morris, Marcia Williams, Tad Coffin, Jimmy Wofford, Hilda Gurney and Kamila DuPont. Lisa has successfully coached Francie Steinwedell-Carvin, Jill Walton and Vanessa Brown.
